CAN gateway
Install the small native gateway on the computer attached to the vehicle's CAN adapter (slcan/CANable on any OS, or SocketCAN on Linux). It connects out to this server; no inbound setup needed.

Software updates
Check CFMOTO's servers for ECU firmware / dashboard updates. Credentials are sent only to CFMOTO over HTTPS and are not stored by cfdiag.
Reads each connected ECU's current software and asks the dealer catalog whether newer firmware exists. Connect to the vehicle first.

What do the model codes mean?
CF = CFMOTO, 1000 = engine size (cc class). The next letter is the family: A = ATV (CFORCE), U = UTV (UFORCE / U10), S = sport side-by-side (ZFORCE / Z10). The letters that follow and the trailing -number are trim / market / spec variants (Touring, MV, Overland, …).
CFMOTO does not publish an official letter decoder, and the same code is reused across market catalogues, so one code can carry several marketing names. To tell variants apart reliably, use the model name shown next to each code and the Model / year differences table below.
Example: CF1000ATR-2, CF1000AU-2 and CF1000AZ-2 are all the CFORCE 1000 Touring in different market codes — identical hardware except the 2026 instrument cluster (MMI) variant.
